AFA AGM

The Australian Floorball Association's AGM was held on Sunday 10th November at 10am EST in Canberra.

Western Australia dialled in to this meeting and all Floorball players were encouraged to attend.

Nominations for AFA Executive Committee members were accepted on the day, and via email prior to the meeting.

The following people were nominated for positions within the AFA:

Rainer Martiskin - VICE PRESIDENT

Scott O'Brien (from Newcastle) -SECRETARY

Janne Livonnen - TREASURER

Australian Floorball Championships

The next Australian Floorball Association Club Championships (AFACC) will be held in Newcastle April 2003.

2003 Surfest - Floorball 3 on 3 'Outdoor' tournament April 3rd - 6th Newcastle, NSW.

AFACC Dates - April 10, 11, 12 & 13 (Thu - Sun)

2003 AFACC "Indoor" April 10th - 13th Full IFF format. Full rink, 6 per side, IFF rules. Newcastle, NSW.

AFACC Playing Format:
April 10 & 11 (Thu & Fri) - pool games.
April 12 (Sat) - remainder of pool games & semi finals.
April 13 (Sun) - finals.

AFACC Social Format:
April 10 (Thu evening) - formal dinner
April 11 (Fri evening) - pool competition
April 12 (Sat evening) - team night
